The Norwalk Police Department will hold a DUI checkpoint Saturday night on West Avenue, according to Sgt. Lisa Cotto.
The checkpoint will run from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday. It will be south of I-95 in the southbound lane of West Avenue near the Shell gas station, Cotto said.
The gas station, located at 94 West Avenue, is also known as the Ayush Food Mart.
The Norwalk Police Department is able to hold the checkpoint this weekend because of a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Cotto said.
