Norwalk Police Locate Revolver After Investigating Gunshots

After searching the area, officers recovered a silver revolver that had its serial numbers removed, police said.

 

At about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday Norwalk police responded to 7 Novak Street after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, police said.

A witness told police that two black males fired two shots up Novak Street, toward South Main Street, police said.

The two suspects, one described as tall and the other short and heavy set, fled down Meadow Street. A witness said that they saw one of the men throw something over the fence at 32 Meadow Street, police said.

After searching the area, officers recovered a silver revolver that had its serial numbers removed, police said.

The suspects were not located and the case is under investigation.
