The Norwalk Police Department will be hiring entry-level police officers this summer.
The examination is scheduled for August 10, but applications are due by August 5, according to NorwalkCT.org.
Aside from the requirements to become an officer, the City of Norwalk intends to promote the hiring of city residents. Positive consideration will be given to Norwalk applicants during the hiring process.
