A Norwalk man was hit by a car July 20 in Wilton, according to police.
Janet Beech, age 53 of Ridgefield, was backing out of a parking space in the lot of 920 Danbury Rd., where Caraluzzi's Georgetown Market is located, when Matthew Osmun, 43 of Norwalk, walked behind the car and was allegedly struck by the back of the vehicle as it moved backward, police said.
Osmun reportedly fell to the ground and hit his head on the pavement and was taken to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation, according to police.

The case was still open Tuesday and could be subject to enforcement action, police said.
