Norwalk Man Stabbed On Christmas

Police searching for suspect who stabbed Norwalk man twice.

Norwak Police officials are searching for the person who stabbed a Norwalk man twice early Christmas morning.

According to the police report, the victim, a 47-year old male, was walking on Connecticut Avenue just after midnight when he was confronted by a black male. The suspect, according to the police, is between 5'8"-5'10" and was seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. He allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and asked for money. The incident took place on the corner of Scribner and Connecticut Avenue.

The police report stated the victim suffered a six-inch long cut on his left cheek and was also stabbed in the upper back. He was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment. The police combed the area but could not locate the perpetrator.

Shots Fired On Christmas Eve

At 8:43 p.m. on Christmas Eve, police officials responded to a complaint about shots being fired near Burrick and Woodward Road. According to the report, a mother and her son were getting out of their car when they heard five shots fired.

According to the report, the woman said the shots came from a silver BMW.  Upon investigation, police could not find any shell casing from the alleged shooting on the street. No one was injured or hurt in the incident. An investigation is on-going.
