Westport Police said the driver, later identified as Ferraro, agreed to the payment, but en route pulled his car to the side of the road and displayed a knife.

Ferraro and Frank pulled the victim out of the car and demanded more money, police said, before robbing him of his wallet.

The police account said the victim was blocked from running from the vehicle by both men and then forced to get back in the car.

Frank exited the vehicle at some point at an unknown intersection. Then Ferraro resumed driving around while holding the victim at knife point.

Ferraro allegedly demanded to know the man’s bank PIN number. The victim was released after providing Ferraro his PIN number.

Ferraro later used the ATM card at two local bank locations to withdraw cash, police said.

Both men are wanted for first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery. Ferraro is additionally wanted for credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card, and sixth-degree larceny.

Police cautioned that both men are considered armed and dangerous. They are aware of the investigation and outstanding warrants, police said, and have not made any attempt to turn themselves in to face the charges.

Anyone with information about this incident or know the whereabouts of Ferraro and Frank are asked to call Westport Police at (203) 341-6000.
