A 32 year-old man was arrested Monday on a warrant for allegedly assaulting a man in front of El Dorado Restaurant on Isaacs Street on April 13, according to police.
Diego Guerrero of 88 Gregory St. allegedly confronted the victim in the parking lot in front of the restaurant and proceeded to punch him in the face repeatedly, police said. After the victim fell to the floor, Guerrero then kicked him numerous times in the face, which caused the victim to go unconscious, police said. The victim reported the incident to police and warrant was issued for Guerrero.
He was charged with second-degree assault and his bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in court on April 29.
