Norwalk Driver Faces DWI Charge in Greenwich

A driver who Greenwich Police say was seen crossing the double yellow line along Delavan Avenue was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge.

According to a police report, Lizett Aguilar, 26, of Spring Hill Avenue, Norwalk, was stopped by police about 4 a.m. Nov. 2. She reportedly had red, glassy eyes, an odor alcohol and failed field sobriety tests.

A motor vehicle records check showed the registration of her vehicle expired in May.

Aguilar was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. She posted a $250 bond and was scheduled to appear Nov. 18 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
