Norwalk Firefighters Battle Country Club Rd. Fire

The Norwalk Fire Department battled a structure fire at 19 Country Club Road Monday.

Upon arrival at approximately 10:19 a.m., authorities said smoke and fire were visible coming from the attic area of the house where electrical wires were running into the home.

There were no residents home at the time of the fire so firefighters attacked the interior fire aggressively and knocked down the fire quickly.

Three engines, two trucks, one Rescue and the Command car were dispatched to the scene. There were no injuries reported.The fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal's office.
