New Canaan Teen Pleads Not Guilty in Negligent Homicide Case

According to police, Brianna McEwan was using her smart phone when she hit jogger Kenneth Dorsey on New Canaan Avenue in Norwalk.

 

Stamford-based attorney Robert Bello, who is representing the 16-year-old New Canaan High School student for allegedly while driving on New Canaan Avenue March 24, entered a not guilty plea on her behalf Friday morning, according to the Connecticut Post.

According to police, Brianna McEwan, who appeared in with her father, was using her smart phone when she hit Dorsey. She if convicted.

McEwan is reportedly a member of the high school's soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams.
