Naked Man Claiming To Be Jesus Christ Arrested

Norwalk man arrested after unusual behavior

On December 4, Norwalk Police responded to a call about a naked man allegedly talking about global warming and claiming to be Jesus Christ. According to the police report, Adonnus Elliott of 8 Henry Road, knocked on the door of a woman he had known on West Cedar Road and proceeded to go into the house once the woman greeted him.

Elliott, fully clothed at the time, started rambling about being Jesus Christ and according to the report, punched a hole in the wall of the woman's home. He then took off his clothes and and knocked over a coffee table. Upon arrival, Norwalk Police ordered Elliott to the ground where he was handcuffed. There was an active warrant out on Elliott and he was taken into custody.

Elliott was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $5,000.  Elliott is due back in court on December 20.
