Motorist Hospitalized Following Accident on Ward Street
The motorist's Subaru Tribeca went off the road on the one-way section of Ward Street, hit a two foot high stone wall and came to rest on the front lawn of the single family home.
A female motorist was reportedly hospitalized following a single car accident that occurred at about 12:20 p.m., Sunday, at 105 Ward Street in .
According to a report from Deputy Chief Edward Prescott of the , the motorist's late model Subaru Tribeca went off the road on the one-way section of Ward Street between West Rocks Road and Union Avenue, hit a 2 foot high stone wall and came to rest on the front lawn of the single family home.
Upon arrival firefighters reportedly found the lone female driver semi-conscious. The report states she may have experienced some type of medical episode. She was reportedly transported to Norwalk Hospital.

The one-way section of Ward Street was closed for a half hour while emergency crews treated the victim and removed the vehicle. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation by the Norwalk Police Department.
