Motorcycle Parts Worth Thousands of Dollars Reported Stolen

Man was storing them in his father's Bayne Street home.

A man at a residence on Bayne Street Wednesday morning reported the theft of thousands of dollars in motorcycle parts.

The man told police he formerly owned a motorcycle shop in Stamford and was storing the parts in the basement of his father’s home until he opened another business.

He estimated the loss at between $25,000 and $40,000.

The Detective Bureau was notified and the man said he would provide detectives with an inventory of the stolen parts.
