South Main Street is closed from Washington Street to Hanford Place due to a collision that occurred at the intersection of Haviland Street shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
A teal Mercedes CLK convertible attempted to turn left on to Haviland Street from South Main Street while an Acura MDX was traveling straight through the intersection, according to Sergeant James Belmont.
Belmont said he was unsure of the extent of the injuries at the present time.
Norwalk Police Department, Norwalk Fire Department and Norwalk EMS responded to the accident.
