McDonald's Employee Assaulted After Asking For Order to be Repeated

The following information was provided by the Norwalk Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

An employee of McDonald’s, 726 Connecticut Ave., was punched by a customer Friday night after he asked the man to repeat his order for accuracy.

The victim was working the drive-up window. He said when he asked the customer to repeat his order, the man became angry, told him he needed to do his job better, and asked when he got off from work.

At that point, a passenger got out of the car and began banging on the drive-up window. The window opened enough that the passenger was able to punch the employee in the shoulder.
