Man Loses Wallet During Strong Armed Robbery

Bandits flee into public housing project, leaving victim uninjured.

An East Hartford man had his wallet stolen Wednesday morning by two men who confronted him outside the Best Buy store at 330 Connecticut Ave.

The 25-year-old man, an employee of AT&T, said the pair approached him and began talking to him before one of them grabbed him and pulled his wallet out his pants pocket.

Neither man displayed a weapon.

They fled toward Colonial Village, which is across the street from Best Buy.

The victim did not require medical attention.
