Man Found Dead On Avenue B Was Murdered By Gunshot Wound to Head
Cause of death for woman found with him not available yet.
The death of Iroquois Alston on Saturday has been ruled a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to his head.
The decision, which was reached following an autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Farmington, was released at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The Medical Examiner’s office has not released the results of an autopsy on Rickita Smalls, who was found dead with Alston in a car on Avenue B.

Both Alston, 27, and Smalls, 22, were residents of Bridgeport.
Their bodies in a black car at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday by a resident; with the car’s front passenger side window broken out. The car was registered to Smalls and she was in the driver’s seat, with Alston in the front passenger seat.

Norwalk Police said Tuesday morning that a news release concerning the incident would be distributed later today.
