Man Arrested For Apartment Burglary In February
Tenant reported three watches and $2,000 cash stolen.
A New Haven man was arrested by warrant Monday for allegedly burglarizing a Norwalk apartment in February.
Darryle Cockefur, 51, of 127 Pendleton St., was charged with second-degree larceny and third-degree burglary.
His arrest was the result of a man's complaint that someone broke into his basement apartment at 25 Grandview Ave. and stole thousands of dollars in property. Gone were three watches and two lock boxes, one of which contained $2,000 cash and American and Italian passports.

Cockefur was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and arraigned Tuesday in Superior Court in Norwalk.

Joseph Wilson was arrested Monday afternoon after a loss prevention employee at Kohl's allegedly saw him stuff merchandise in a handbag he was carrying and then leave the store.
The employee of the store at 500 Connecticut Ave. told police Wilson put some clothing and an infant's pajamas worth $24 in the bag.
Wilson, 23, of 16 School St., was charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was held on $1,500 bond and given a court date of March 29.
