Man Arrested after Incident in Lobby of Norwalk Police HQ

On Dec. 20 Norwalk Police arrested Brendon Brucale of New York on multiple charges after a bizarre series of events involving a TV and a GPS.

The complainant, a female, explained to police that she had agreed to return a TV and GPS to Brucale and deposited the items at the police station for the owner to retrieve. According to police, the woman said had been in possession of the items with the agreement that she would sell them for a friend in order to raise funds to get someone out of jail.

Brucale, the accused, traveled to Norwalk Police station seeking return of the GPS and TV and was asked for his identification as a matter of course.

Upon being asked for identification, Brucale raised his middle finger to police, used profane language and kicked the lobby door. Brucale lunged at a police officer as if he was going to strike or head butt the officer.

According to Lt. Lowe, when Police handcuffed Brucale, he resisted, but was ultimately detained, charged with Assault on a Peace officer, Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with an Officer. He was released on $25,000 bond and has a court date of Dec. 31, 2013.
