Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute

A domestic dispute led to an arrest Wednesday morning, according to police.

A husband, 45, and wife, both Norwalk residents, were arguing about financial and other matters in their kitchen at about 10 a.m. when the husband allegedly became forceful and pushed his wife against the kitchen wall, police said.

He was also allegedly holding a knife, which he reportedly did not brandish at his wife or specifically threaten her with, according to police.

The wife did not suffer any injuries. The husband was charged with assault in the third degree and threatening in the second degree and was given a summons.
