Man Accused of Shoplifting at Home Depot Center

A Bridgeport man was taken into custody at Home Depot Center, 600 Connecticut Ave., Tuesday for allegedly rolling a cart of merchandise out of the store without paying for it.

Store security said the man's cart contained painting supplies and garden mulch with a total value of $261.85.

Arrested was Randolph Harrell, 56, of 10 Ellsworth St., who was charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was held on $2,000 bond and given a court date of March 29.
