Laptops Taken from Car, Truck in Separate Incidents

The two burglaries were committed about a mile from one another, one (at Kendall Court) at the northern edge of the Spring Hill section of Norwalk (or just beyond it), the other in South Norwalk.

In two incidents reported to police on Tuesday, laptops were taken from vehicles in Norwalk, each of which was unlocked.

In the first incident the owner told police at 8:39 a.m. that a Dell laptop computer with an estimated value of $800 was taken from his 2008 Chevy K1500, parked at a residence on Kendall Court.

The owner parked the truck the night before, then in the morning found the passenger door ajar.

The second incident was reported to police at 11:04 p.m. The owner said a laptop and other items were missing from his unlocked Honda parked on Garner Street.
