The 20-year-old still faces first degree manslaughter charges.

A 20-year-old Norwalk man accused of killing a man in 2008 has been acquitted of murder but still faces first degree manslaughter charges, according to the Norwalk Hour.

LaMont McCrae was accused of the murder of Vonterrel George but was acquitted on a murder charge last week. McCrae allegedly stabbed George to death in June 2008.

According to the Hour, the deadlocked jury could not come up with a decision regarding the manslaughter charge McCrae faces in relation to the same crime.
