Hotel Fight Results in Arrest of New York Brother and Sister

A 28 year-old New York man and his sister were arrested at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk on Sunday after the man got into a fight with another individual and his sister kicked an EMS worker in the chest, according to police.

Officers were called to the hotel located at 540 Main Ave. after there were reports of commotion on the second floor. Campbell Scott of 364 West 116th Street was reportedly fighting an unidentified individual and he was taken into custody, according to police. While he was being escorted out of the building, Scott was reportedly yelling and cursing at the officers and spitting on the walls. As he was being taken through the lobby, Scott reportedly kicked a wet floor sign, which struck a coffee stand, police said.

When Scott was placed inside of an ambulance, his sister Christine Scott, 26, of 540 140th Street, tried to get inside of the vehicle with him, police said. When officers tried to explain to her that she was not allowed to ride with her brother to the hospital, Christine Scott reportedly started screaming while trying to prevent the paramedics from closing the ambulance door. During the commotion, she allegedly kicked one of the EMS workers in the chest, police said. After a final warning, Christine Scott was tasered and handcuffed, according to police.

Upon Campbell Scott's arrival at the hospital, officers found LSD strips in his possession that when analyzed weighed in at 2.2 grams and equaled to 15 hits. He was charged with disorderly conduct, possession of narcotics, assault and interfering with a police officer. His bond was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
