Iesha Grossett, 19, of 19 Ferris Ave., and Samantha Yanez, 18, of 14 Vernon St., Stratford, were each charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

Store personnel said the pair attempted to leave the store with 27 items including a backpack, toys and cosmetics worth about $100. They were stopped as they tried to exit from the garden shop.
