Frightening Accident on Route 7 Connector
Child ejected in SUV rollover on Route 7 connector
A small child was ejected from an SUV during a three-car accident that occurred on the Route 7 connector on Saturday morning.
According to the Norwalk Fire Department, The accident occurred between exit one and exit two in the northbound lane of the Route 7 connector at 11:17 a.m. One of the vehicles was a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that rolled over and was on its roof upon the fire departments arrival. A total of six people were in the SUV, three children and three adults, who were reportedly going to a family function.
Officials from the NFD said that five of the people were out of the vehicle with unconfirmed reports that at least one of the children was ejected from the vehicle. The two other vehicles received minor damage and no injuries were reported form their occupants.

Six people were treated and transported by Norwalk Hospital paramedics and all were transported to Bridgeport and St. Vincent’s Hospital. The condition of the people are not known at this time.
Connecticut State Police accident reconstruction team was called in to investigating the cause of the accident.
