Former Norwalk Daycare Teacher Charged With Molesting Young Girls

A Bridgeport man has reportedly been charged with molesting two young girls at a where he worked as a teacher three years ago.

According to a report in the CT Post, Harold Meyers, 44, of Bridgeport was arrested by Norwalk Police Monday and charged with two counts each of third-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a child. He was ordered held on a $150,000 bond at his arraignment Monday at state . His case has been transferred to state , where he is scheduled to appear May 11, according to the report.

Meyers, who denies the charges, reportedly worked as a teacher at daycare center at 11 Allen Road for 18 months between 2007 and 2009.
