Kyle Armstrong, 30, of 100 Richards Ave in Norwalk was arrested on Dec. 28 at about 7:00p.m. with Breach of Peace and Assault after an incident with his boss at a restaurant on Rowayton Ave, Sails American Grill.
According to Norwalk Police, restaurant owner, Marco Coelho, 42, called to report a fight stemming from his declined request for Armstrong, the sous chef, to make him a pizza. Coelho told police that he and Armstrong had stepped outside the restaurant where, Coelho reported Armstrong had choked and punched him and threw him into some vehicles before fleeing in a white pickup truck. Contacted by phone, Armstrong returned to the restaurant.
Both Coelho and Armstrong were charged with Breach of Peace. Armstrong was also charged with assault. His bond was set at $20,000 and his court date was Dec. 30.
Armstrong was also arrested on Dec. 29 for Violation of Release, Threatening, Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct after he was pulled over on Monroe Street for traveling at a high rate of speed. Earlier, according to Norwalk Police, Armstrong had gone to the apartment of Coelho that the two share and unlocked the door and then kicked open the safety chain, leaving scuff marks on the door, and threatened Coelho before leaving the residence. Coincidentally, Armstrong was pulled over for speeding on Monroe Street.
