Family Affair Turns Ugly, Brothers Arrested

Brothers arrested for assaulting sister.

Norwalk Police arrested brothers on Monday for allegedly assaulting their sister during two different arguments on the same day.

Mike Saint-Victor, 24, of 42 Lincoln Avenue and Jeffrey Saint-Victor, 18, of the same address were both charged for multiple infractions on January 15.

According to the police report, Jeffrey and Mike went to their sister's home on Harbour Avenue around 4:45 p.m. An argument ensued and Mike allegedly hit his sister. Upon investigation, police officers noticed swelling above the left eye of the victim.

Earlier in the day, Mike left his sisters home but came back. He yelled to his sister to open the door. When the sister refused, Mike busted the door in. During their investigation, police officers noted the door had been broken. Jeff entered the home and allegedly pushed his sister twice. His sister asked them to leave but they both refused. When she tried to make a call, Mike grabbed the phone from her and threw it to the ground.

During the arguments and alleged assaults, the victim's two children, a 5-year old boy and 4-year old girl, were present.

Mike and Jeffrey  left the apartment and after receiving a call from the victim, police officials went looking for them and tried to reach both on their cell phones. The next morning, police officials went to their home on Lincoln Avenue and arrested them without incident.

Police charged Mike Saint-Victor with:

  • Burglary, 1st-degree
  • Burglary, 1st-degree
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Assault, 3rd-degree
  • Criminal mischief
  • Injury/risk/impairing morals (two counts)

Bond was set at $10,000. Mike has a court day on Jan. 17.

Police charged Jeffrey Saint-Victor with:

  • Assault, 3rd-degree
  • Criminal mischief
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Burglary, 1st-degree
  • Burglary, 1st-degree
  • Injury/risk/impairing morals

Bonde was set at $10,000. Jeffrey has a court day on Jan. 17.
