A Fairfield Resident Turned In Her Son For Marijuana And More...

Unusual arrests and investigations from the area.

A Westport man  at knifepoint in their driveway early Feb. 4 and fled to the home of a Trumbull man he knew. The two were nabbed with the help of Cyrus the Trumbull Police dog and still had the woman's purse and the items inside it, police said.

Meanwhile, a Bridgeport woman took items from the lost and found box in the Westfield Trumbull Mall and exchanged them at J.C. Penney before buying more merchandise, police said.

A Stamford male was  for bicycling into the garage of local hotel and attempting to break into cars with a screwdriver. The man was easily seen by staff, who notified police.

Westport Police officers responded to a report of driver slumped over behind the wheel of a stopped vehicle in the middle of an intersection. When police arrived he woke up and accelerated slowly through the intersection while officers ran alongside the vehicle yelling for him to stop.

Greenwich teens should be wary while walking to and from school. Earlier this week,  and followed by two men told them they were attractive and wanted to take them shopping in New York City.
