Ex-Norwalk Cop Injured In Crash Out Of ICU
Russell "Chuck" Fallo listed in satisfactory condition less than two weeks after crash.
Russell, "Chuck" Fallo, a former Norwalk police sergeant who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on December 2, has been moved out of the intensive care unit at Norwalk Hospital and is currently listed in satisfactory condition, according to a hospital official.
Fallo, 57, who served with the Norwalk Police Deparment for more than 30 years before retiring in 2009, was riding his motorcyle on the Newtown Turnpike in Weston on December 2 when he lost control of his bike and crashed. Weston police officials reported that Fallo may have hit a patch of black ice. He was taken to Norwalk Hosptal where he underwent surgery and placed in coma.
Fallo has steadily improved since then and is currently listed in satisfactory condition.
