Ex-Boyfriend Accused of Attacking Woman
The following information was provided by the Norwalk Police Department. Arrests or charges do not indicate a conviction.
Police say jealous rage led a man to attack his former girlfriend Saturday after seeing her with another man.
Someone called police to report there were two women walking on Merritt Street and one of them was bleeding.
Officers did not locate the women there, but did find a woman near the basketball court of the King-Kennedy apartments on Chestnut Street with blood on her hands, a chest wound and marks on her neck.

She told the officers she had been walking with her boyfriend when Lamos Rivera, who she used to date, encountered them. She said Rivera broke a large bottle of malt liquor and used a piece of jagged glass to stab her in the chest.
Police said due to a language barrier, they were uncertain whether Rivera also grabbed her by her neck, or if the marks on her neck were there previously.
