East Norwalk Robbery Victim Stabbed in Neck

A city man was stabbed in the neck Tuesday night in the course of being robbed in East Norwalk.

Police said the victim had a stab wound six-inches-long and an inch deep on the left side of his neck. This is “God’s laceration,” an emergency room doctor was quoted as telling police after pointing out no major blood vessels or muscles were severed.

The 21-year-old told police he was walking near the intersection of Van Zant and Fort Point streets when he heard voices, followed by three males running toward him from across the street.
