East Norwalk Man Found To Have Substantial Quantity of Heroin

Arrest made by police vice officers after two-month investigation.

Following a two-month narcotics investigation, Special Services officers Thursday morning found an East Norwalk man to be in possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana in his home, according to the division’s commander.

Releasing the information through Norwalk Police spokeswoman Sgt. Lisa Cotto, Lt. Thomas Mattera said his officers entered the home of Peter Sandri, of 35 Van Zant St., and found 97 bags of heroin and $1,100 cash, along with quantities of cocaine and marijuana.

Mattera said no other details of the investigation are being released at his time.

Sandri, 39, was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of a prescription drug, and possession and sale of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school.

At his residence, police also took into custody Lindsey Longo, 26, of 54 Hilltop Ave., Stamford. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school.
