Denied Purchase Exchange, Man Grabs Merchandise and Flees
Complained "male enhancement device" doesn't work, police said.
A man denied an exchange on a "used" item he purchased at a store that features adult videos and sex-related merchandise grabbed a similar product off a counter and fled, police said.
The man purchased a "male enhancement device" Thursday at The Love Shack, 156 Connecticut Ave., an officer's report says, and returned about 20 minutes later saying it didn't work.
The $40 device, according to police spokesman Lt. Praveen John, is a pump that purportedly can increase the size of a man's penis.

According to the officer's report, the clerk told the man the store doesn't make exchanges on such devices after they've been used.
The clerk told police the man then picked up a pump of similar value from the counter, put it in a bag and ran out of the store.
