Deli Burglary Yields Cash, Cold Cuts, Bread
Perpetrator filled a garbage bag with loaves of meat and bread.
Police say the man shown here burglarized an East Norwalk delicatessen last Saturday evening, taking the cash drawer from the register along with substantial amounts of cold cuts and bread.
Det. Sgt. Thomas Roncinske said the perpetrator entered Marinello's Deli & Grill, 300 Strawberry Hill Ave., at about 7:30 p.m.
He described the man as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 25 years old, about five-feet eight-inches tall with a medium build. At the time he was wearing a black North Face fleece jacket over a black, hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and white sneakers. He left in a red or maroon four-door sedan.
