Danbury Man Arrested for Selling Drugs to Undercover Officers

Seth Mitchell, 34, allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist offering to sell customers drugs and sex, according to police.

 

A 34 year-old Danbury man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly sold narcotics to undercover officers in Norwalk last month, according to police.

The department received a tip in January that Seth Mitchell of 2 Briar Ridge Road had a Craigslist ad offering to sell customers cocaine, marijuana and his own body, police said. Undercover officers contacted Mitchell on Feb. 1 and asked him to meet them at a business on Westport Avenue so that they could purchase $125 worth of marijuana and $50 worth of powdered cocaine, according to police.

After met with the officers, the department obtained a warrant for Mitchell's arrest and apprehended him on School Street, police said, and a small amount of a marijuana was found in his possession. He was charged with possession of narcotics, illegal manufacturing, distrubution and/or sale of prescription drugs, possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of drugs near a school. His bond is set at $30,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on March 28.

Juan Flores, of 5 Ryan Ave., Norwalk, was arrested and charged on Wednesday with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment.

Sharon Jones, 45, of 133 Monterey Place #129, Norwalk was arrested and charged on Wednesday with failure to appear in court in the second degree.

David Luna-Rivera, 20, of 25 Spring Hill Ave., Norwalk, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

Jennifer Monahan, 34, of 1 Lawrence, Norwalk, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with failure to appear in court in the second degree.

Bruce Morris, 31, of 315 Ely Ave., Norwalk, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with failure to appear in court in the second degree.
