Cops: Man Sold Crack to Undercover Officer Twice

Samuel DeJesus, 22, of Norwalk twice sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer, Norwalk police said.

Samuel DeJesus, 22, of Norwalk sold crack cocaine twice to an undercover police officer working with Norwalk Police's special services division, then was arrested Tuesday by an officer on patrol, police said.

DeJesus, of Madison Street, was walking on Day Street when the officer on patrol saw him and recalled that DeJesus was wanted on an arrest warrant, said Lt. James Walsh, commander of the special services division.

The suspect was arrested without incident and had no illegal drugs or weapons on him, Walsh said.

DeJesus was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics as well as possessing and selling narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school. He was held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Sept. 25 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
