Copper Cable Stolen from Business

Copper cable -- six feet long and about 2 to 3 inches thick -- was reported stolen Monday from the yard of a business on Tindall Avenue.

Sometime before about 9 a.m. Monday, the outer fence to the property was cut from a spool stored outside, according to a Norwalk police report.

Someone tried to sell it to a local junk yard, police were told when they called, but the person was turned away by the business.
