City Teen Arrested On Robbery, Assault Charges
Victim was attacked in South Norwalk's Ryan Park; lost his bookbag and phone.
A Norwalk teenager was arrested by warrant Wednesday for her alleged involvement in a strong-arm robbery on February 22.
Police were dispatched to the South Norwalk Community Center (NEON), 98 South Main St., on a report of an assault and located the male victim outside the building.
He told police he was confronted by several people in Ryan Park and beaten in the head. He said he believed it was two males and two females, and they stole his bookbag and iPhone.

Police reported the victim had swelling on his right forehead, but declined medical treatment.
Keara Jenkins, 18, of 49 Meadow St., was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

Jenkins was released on a promise to appear in court Wednesday.
