Police Say Norwalk Man Slept in Vacant House

A Grove Street resident reported to police Sunday night seeing a man enter a home at 7 Grove St. by crawling through a window.
Officers searching the vacant house found a city man asleep inside.
Gromeck Kazimierz, 47, of 20 Sniffen St., was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 7

Man Spots Someone Leaving His House
A resident of 6 Meadowbrook La. reported seeing a man leaving his house as he was returning home at around 2:15 Sunday morning. Nothing was missing and the resident could not identify the man.

Unlocked Vehicles Entered
An unlocked car in the driveway of a home at 18 Oakledge Circle was burglarized Saturday. The car’s owner reported the entry at 9:38 p.m. A driver’s license, calculator and books were taken.
The owner of a 2003 Land Rover at 6 Windward Rd. reported it burglarized Sunday. A wallet containing credit cards and a check book were taken from the unlocked vehicle.
