Christmas Day Incident Results in Arrest of Norwalk 19-Year-Old

On Dec. 25 a woman walked into the lobby of Norwalk Police headquarters complaining that her son had attacked her at her residence.

The woman, who police described as visibly upset, recounted how her son had dropped out of Brien McMahon High School and refused to get a job, and that she was having a conversation with her own mother that morning when her son interrupted, grabbed her shirt and drew back his fist as if he was going to punch her.

According to Norwalk Police the woman recounted her son claiming his two dead uncles were demanding he do something, and subsequently followed her into the kitchen, grabbing her again and threatening to hurt her badly if she went to the police.

Norwalk Police officers responded to the home at 135 Flax Hill Rd and arrested Oshane Adegbayibi, 19. He was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and Threatening and was held on $500 bond. Adegbayibi has a court date of Dec. 26.

The complainant was not hurt and declined medical attention.
