Bridgeport Woman Rams Boyfriend's Car

Police said, a Bridgeport woman was arrested after ramming her boyfriend's Mercedes-Benz following an argument Thursday.

Police said, Latoya Bush, 26, of Bridgeport was arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct Thursday Feb. 16, 2011. 

According to police, Bush's 44-year-old boyfriend packed his belongings and left in a Mercedes-Benz he borrowed from his mother following an arguement. Bush's boyfriend spent the night at a motel in the area and was confronted by Bush in the parking lot around 5:30A.M the following morning. He left in the Mercedes in an attempt to avoid Bush. Bush then followed his vehicle and approached at a "high rate of speed," according to police, and struck the Mercedes from behind in front of Stop & Shop on Connecticut Ave., causing significant damage to the vehicle. Police said, Bush's boyfriend then drove onto I-95 North where Bush rammed his vehicle again near exit 25. Bush's boyfriend notified Bridgeport police who then contacted Norwalk police. Bush cooperated when asked to come to the .

Bush has been charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, her court date is Feb. 10, 2012.

Police say, Bradford Emmet, 42, of Norwalk was stopped and arrested near East Ave. and Westport Rd. after being stopped at 1:10 A.M for driving without his headlights on.

According to police, Emmet passed a radar unit near East Ave. and Eversly Ave. who noticed his headlights were not lit. Police say Emmet was stopped by another unit who noted, "he had a hard time removing his license and registration." Officers said the smell of alcohol was detected and Emmet was asked to "step out of the vehicle." Emmet then failed a field sobriety test, according to police. 

Emmet was charged with operation of a vehicle while under the influence and failure to have headlights lit, according to police. 

Facebook Fight

Police said they were called to Scribner Ave. following a Facebook arguement between two juvenilles escalated. 

The call came in to  to respond to Scribner Ave. after reports of people outside one of the children's residences were said to allegedly have baseball bats. The situation did not progress.

The parents of the juvenilles involved were notified and no arrests were made.
