10:51 a.m.: A fire in the boat storage area at Dodson Boatyard quickly spread this morning.

Two boats caught on fire in the boat storage area along the railroad docks but the fire has now spread to four boats.

The two power boats that originally caught fire are completely destroyed and two sailboats are also now on fire.

Using an open Flame on boats to make a winter cover is a NO NO........ Shrink Wrap is a waist of money. This is another reason to purchase a custom re-usable winter cover by Fairclough Sailmakers Inc. They pay for them selfs in just a few seasons and they are much better for your boat. Last for 15 plus years. www.fairclough.com
