A city man was taken into custody Wednesday, accused of robbing three men at gunpoint of cell phones and cash.
Police allege Darryl Johnson and an accomplice confronted the men May 24 on Keith Street, and stole two Apple 16 GB iPhones and $210.
The victims told police one of the robbers, a heavyset black male, held a gun on them.
Thursday morning, police spokesman Lt. Praveen John said Special Services officers took Johnson into custody at 43 Harbor Ave.
Johnson, 19, of 30 Merwin Ave., was charged with two counts of second-degree robbery. He was held on $50,000 bond and given a court date of Sept. 25.
