Accident Shuts Down I-95, Police Looking For Car That Evaded Scene

Accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near Exit 15 on I-95 in Norwalk.

According to multiple reports, a disabled tracter-trailer has caused a shutdown of I-95 near Exit 15.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. and there are reports that the driver of the truck was trapped in the vehicle as it caught fire.

Police are said to be looking for a Chrysler LeBaron with damage on the driver’s side. Allegedly occupied by two females, they are wantedfor evading  the scene. Two southbound lanes have been opened. Traffic has been led off at exit 16 in Norwalk. Tractor-trailer is on its side.
