A Busy Weekend for Burglars in Norwalk

Homes were broken into on Avenue D, Richards Avenue, West Cedar Street and Douglas Drive; a shed on Fillow Street and a business on Cedar Crest Place were hit.

Four residential burglaries were reported this past weekend in Norwalk, along with a burglary to a business on Cedar Crest Place.

The four residential burglaries, along with the theft at the business, occurred within a mile of each other, mostly in West Norwalk, but also at the edges of the Spring Hill and South Norwalk sections of the city (see the map accompanying this article). One of the four, a home on Avenue D may have been burglarized well before the weekend.

In addition to those burglaries, a shed at residence on Fillow Street, well north of the other home burglaries, was burglarized sometime between Thursday and 3:10 p.m. Friday.
