$1,600 Worth of Merchandise Stolen from Parked Car on Elm Street
The stole items included Ugg boots, an iPod and a pair of sunglasses, according to police.
An Elm Street resident reported that $1,600 worth of merchandise was stolen from her car, according to police.
The complainant told police that the passenger front window of her Nissan was shattered and that a Dooney & Burke bag (valued at $350), an iPod Nano (valued at $250), a pair of Ugg boots (valued at $250), a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses (valued at $350) and a few dresses (valued at $400) were taken from the vehicle.

Patricia Stradford, 55, of 8 Couch Street, Norwalk, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with creating a public disturbance.
Eddie Zapata, 41, of 9 School Street, Norwalk was arrested and charged on Tuesday with disorderly conduct.
