The production will be performed April 17-19, at The Carriage House Arts Center in Norwalk’s Cranbury Park.

Last year, V-Day Norwalk raised a total of $4886 as part of V-Day. Approximately $4397 from ticket sales and private donations went to The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education, an organization that offers counseling, advocacy and education services for lower Fairfield County. $488 was donated to the V-Day Spotlight Campaign, which focuses on eliminating violence against women and girls.

In 2012, over 5,800 V-Day benefit productions were held around the world raising funds and educating millions of people on the realities of violence against women and girls. To date, the V-Day campaign has raised over $90 million, in addition to developing international educational, media and PSA campaigns, re-opening shelters, and donating funds to thousands of community-based anti-violence programs and safe houses.

This year, Norwalk will join this global effort for the fourth time as part of the V‑Day 2015 Community Campaign. All proceeds from the Norwalk performances will go directly toward the efforts of V-Day.

Men are encouraged to be a part of the campaign offstage.
