Obituary: Marian "Mumsie" Bogdany Kilbride, 78

Marian (Mumsie) Bogdany Kilbride 78, of Wilton passed away peacefully, Friday, Nov. 15, 2013.

Born in Norwalk CT., on October 26 1935, daughter of the late Stephen and Marian Kertesz Bogdany of Norwalk, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy of Stamford and Katherine Gibbs of New York City. She worked as a secretary at Perkin Elmers, Remington Rand and the Vita Corp of Wilton.

After retiring, Marian volunteered time as secretary at St. Francis of Assisi of Weston and also active in the Ladies Guild for many years. She was also active and a big supporter of the Republican Women party of Wilton.

Marian Kilbride was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Vincent Kilbride in Nov. 26, 2012. Survivors include her sister Zita Szabo of Fairfield, nephew, Zoltan J. Szabo of Trumbull and wife Kimberly , niece Zita Ruf of Trinity FL. and husband Marty. Great nieces, Kristine and Alexandra Szabo, Taylor Ruf and great nephew Timothy Ruf. She was also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Nov 21 from 3-7pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, CT. A mass will be held Friday 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 30 Church St. Georgetown CT., with burial at St. Johns Cemetery in Norwalk CT.
